Who needs toys, when you have metal bowls and wooden spoons to play with? Princess J has officially figured our how to open up the cabinets and grab everything. So, in order to avert her attention away from said cabinets mommy pulled out a metal bowl and wooden spoon for her to play with. She was in noise heaven! When given the choice of her regular toy or the wooden spoon, it was the wooden spoon that maintained her affections. When we tried to take the wooden spoon away the tears started flowing. I couldn't help but snap this photo of her playing with her new found favorites. So, with Princess J's 1st birthday quickly approaching, we're thinking maybe we should check out the new Martha Stewart pots and pans at Macy's.

hi there miss laurie!
you've been updating too:) yippee!
that's a priceless photo of her:)
That's such a great photo - it'll make a great scrapbook page! Max loves chewing on the plastic handle of our wooden spoons - great for teething!
I love this. Makily is the same way. We have hundreds and hundreds of dollars worth of toys in this house. For a long time, all she would play with was the tissue paper out of a gift bag.
DROVE ME NUTS!
She is cute as a button in the pot though. A pot and a spoon, we need to try that around here!
this is just too darn cute! we are starting to think about babyproofing the house :)
